The majority of respondants ansewered that they like Western cakes better. I was suprised that many people prefer Western cakes to Japanese ones. I want everyone to know the tastiness of Japanese cakes.
#2
Ohagi, Manju, and Senbei are the most popular cakes. I personally thought that Yokan is not been familiar because I don't really see that Yokan is sold at supermarkets or convenience stores.
#3
Wow!! All respondants answered that Japanese sweets in Kyoto is the best! I thought that Japanese cakes made in other area are known so much. There are many Japanese traditions in Kyoto, a field of sweets also great. But... people had better be proud of the local specialties in their hometown ;-)

I asked the name of favorite Japanese cake definitely. I didn't know "Tsuki no Sayaka". I got it on the web that it's a custard cake made in Okayama. Each person likes different sweets.

Oh... I can undestand the love to Japanese cakes everyone has... Many people introduce Japanese cakes that use Japan-distinctive "anko". Certainly, anko tastes very good. I admired the person who introduced that Japanese sweets is not oily, so it's very healthy. I also want foreign people to know the tasty of Japanese cakes.
I sometimes happen to see Japanese cake store, but in supermarket or convenience store, Western cakes are sold more than Japanese. I want to remember the taste of Japanese traditional cakes. I wish Japanese cakes will improve more and more, and people come to like them more.
